We have some fantastic news to share – Please join us in welcoming Evelyn Mackenzie, our new Social Service Worker, to our team. In the intervention department, Evelyn will work closely with Rebecca, our Social Services Coordinator.

We are thrilled to have Evelyn on board; her skills and abilities make her an excellent addition to our team. We can’t wait to see her positive impact on our community.

Evelyn will be sharing a few words with you all:

My name is Evelyn, and I will be the new social service worker at the Teapot 50+ Centre in Lachine. I’m so excited to be here and part of this fantastic organization.

I recently graduated from Concordia University with a bachelor’s degree in Sociology and have spent this past year as an educator/case coordinator at a rehabilitation center for young mothers.

Much of my work experience has been with families, children and at-risk youth. However, I am so excited to start this new journey with the 50+ community, getting to know you all and hearing your feedback.

A little bit about me is that I love being active and spending time outdoors, doing arts and crafts, learning new things and spending time with my loved ones.

I look forward to meeting all of you and growing with this community.
