Estate and Legacy Giving
Making the Teapot 50+ Centre a beneficiary in your will is a simple and thoughtful way to leave a legacy, while making a difference for generations to come. A receipt for the full amount of the donation may offset capital gains or other taxes payable, while lessening the financial burden on your loved ones.
How it Works
A bequest can be as easy as adding a sentence or two to your Will, or including a codicil to your existing Will. We can provide sample wording to help you.
You can choose to leave a specific dollar amount, a particular asset, or a fixed percentage of your estate to the Teapot 50+ Centre.
Your gift can be unrestricted, allowing us to use it where the need is greatest, or you can direct it to support a particular program or purpose that matters to you.

Reduced Taxes
