Our team is ready to provide you with the support you and your family need when faced with the realities of ageing and the challenges that come with it. We offer essential services and advocacy to allow Lachine’s 50+ community to maintain their independence and their quality of life.

Individual Advocacy
Our Social Services team provides individual support in partnership with the public sector and community agencies to ensure the best service and support available.
This includes (but is not limited to):
- Needs Assessments
- Referrals
- Advocacy: Housing and Rentals, Transport Adapté, Legal Affairs, Downsizing
- Assistance with Forms
- Crisis Intervention
- Follow-ups

Transport
This service provides Lachine residents with transportation through volunteer drivers and taxi vouchers. Transportation is available for medical appointments on the island of Montreal, as well as errands within Lachine.

Tech Support
The Teapot offers one-on-one technical support to our members to answer your questions related to your smartphones, tablets, smartphones, Zoom training or other basic technological assistance.

Shop For Program
Grocery orders must be in by Wednesday at 4:00 pm. Deliveries take place on Friday.
Friendly Calls & Visits
Our Friendly Calls & Visits program provides an opportunity for our members to build relationships to help break isolation. Calls & Visits take place once a week, and can consist of a friendly conversation, going on a walk or even playing a card game!

Shop With Program
Our ‘Shop With’ program provides our members an opportunity to get a ride on our minibus to and from the grocery store. Our volunteers will assist with carrying your bags to your door. The program takes place every Thursday and rotates between Metro, IGA and Maxi.
The cost for this service is 7.00$.

Memory Clinic
Our memory clinic offers a preventative screening clinic (by appointment) for
participants who have noticed changes in their memory. This is a private, one-on-one pre-testing to help you decide if you need to be seen for memory care.

Foot Care
Our foot care services are provided by professionals and caring nurses who have received their certifications in foot care. Services are offered at the Teapot ($40) or in home ($45).

Income Tax Clinic
Our Income Tax Clinic is provided by our patient bookkeeper to assist participants with filing their taxes during tax season.
