As the Income Tax season approaches, we would like to remind everyone that we offer a free clinic for those who meet the following criteria:

• Must be 50 years and older

• Must have a modest income:

• Person living alone, $40,000

• Couple, $55,000

Must be considered a simple tax situation:

• Employment

• Pension

• Benefits: QPP, disability insurance plan, employment insurance or social assistance

• Income or an annuity from a registered retirement savings plan (RRSP)

• Income from interest (less than $1,000)

*Excluded (Complex) Situations*

• Self-employment income

• Business/rental income and expenses

• Capital gains/losses

• Foreign property
