The Teapot 50+ Centre – Ressources Troisième Âge Lachine is proud to play an active role in the ODI Working Group on Homelessness Prevention. This important initiative brings together community and institutional partners to better understand the realities of people experiencing or at risk of homelessness, and to build coordinated, sustainable solutions.
Through our participation, we amplify the voices, needs, and experiences of seniors, advocating for their right to live with dignity, security, and in community. We are committed to ensuring that seniors are not left behind in conversations and actions aimed at preventing homelessness.
Housing security is not just a shelter issue; it’s a mental health, dignity, and community issue. By working together, we can build a stronger safety net to help seniors remain in the neighbourhoods they know and love.
